Secure Your Spot in This Groundbreaking Opportunity!

WVC MESA and The School of Science & Math, will be hosting the NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars (NCAS) Robotics Competition. This 4–5 day, in-person activity will take place during Spring Break 2026 from March 30–April 3. Forty (40) students will be selected to form four teams of 10 students. Each team will form a fictitious aerospace company to compete for a NASA contract.

During this week, you will get to meet and work with subject matter experts, visit and tour a university's STEM labs, and a local industry partner. All STEM majors are encouraged to apply! Non-STEM are also welcomed to apply, but you do need to have 9 units of STEM courses that you have completed, or are currently taking.

Student eligibility requirements:

  1. U.S. Citizens, Lawful Permanent Residents (LPR), Permanent Resident Aliens (PRA), or Green Card Holders
  2. High school graduate or equivalent and at least 18 years of age.
  3. A registered community college student, and
  4. Completion of, or enrollment in, 9 or more semester hours or credits of STEM coursework.
