Course Description
This course offers a study of styles in architecture from pre-history to the present. This course covers: cultural, political, and social influences in architectural styles; a general overview of different architectural styles including each style鈥檚 date of origination, its life period, main characteristics, and features; differences between similar styles, and eclecticism. This course also covers the styles of American colonial architecture.
